Sandhya Math

Sandhya Math is an ancient stone temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located on the northern bank of Rankala Lake in Kolhapur. Built with stone pillars and a open hall structure, it remains completely submerged underwater during the monsoon season when water levels rise. As the water recedes in summer, the historic structure emerges fully, making it a popular attraction for visitors viewing the sunset over the lake.
